Work vs Life
How many of us actually work for fun ? Without having to wait for salary time ?
I guess the percentage of that category of people is very less.
We contribute mostly of our life time to work. Can we honestly tell ourself that we are achieving something that is worthwhile? Or should we tell ourself : Enough is enough, no more spending the rest of my life working like a cow 'coz the rewards is heaps of grass !! Useless....!
Or are we chasing after something that we can't see ? Luxury car(s) , huge mansion, millions of dollars in our FD ? Or is all this a necessity ?
How much time do we have for ourself in a week ? How do we reward ourself for doing a great job for that week ? How do we compensate the loss of time with families and loved ones ? I guess we won't be doing that because on weekends, all we care about is catching up some sleep that we needed desperately.
Is this a balance lifestyle ? Certainly NOT !!
But do we have choice ? Yes and No.
I will wonder about this matter and before I could come out with the answer, I will be nearing retirement age, where it doesn't matter anymore.
