Travelling journal

It was a beautiful Saturday. We headed down south for a long-await holiday. En-route we stopped by at the Ayer Keroh R&R for our lunch break as well as toilet break. Along the way, I am still wondering am I doing the right thing ? JB is not 40 minutes away from KL, it's 4 hours ! Are we that desperate to attend the 'Summer Concert ' that we have to travel all the way from KL to JB, an almost 5 hours drive !
Anyway, driving along the North South Highway is quite a breeze. At the same time, I could catch up with friends and got updated information about their current situation. strait of Johore from our hotel
It has been ages since I stepped foot in Johor Bahru. The name is ever so familiar but I just couldn't imagine what it's like as I have no impression or memory about that place.
DANGA BAY - A place where you can have lots of endless fun without burning a hole in the pocekt. It was a real cool place to hang-out for those that desires to be seen and noticed. Came across people of all ages, backgrounds, religions...etc. Can't deny there might be some Singaporean in between.
Danga Bay International RestaurantThe night air was cool as the weather in the afternoon was a little cloudy and windy. Although we could choose to watch the concert at the comfort of our home, but nothing beats being there and experience the fiesta mood.
The concert was real good as our favourite artist, Nicholas Teo was there to rendered a few songs that could send one to cloud nine! He is soooo good looking and his voice was superb! It's great to know that Kuching has such good and talented singer and he really makes us feel proud!
Besides Nicholas Teo we have a few local artists as well. Applause to all of them as they did a great performance.
We left early as we certainly do not wish to get stuck in a massive traffic jam after the concert ended. We had our dinner at 12 midnight at one of the shop in town. As our hotel is just walking distance to eating shops, we have no difficulty getting food even at such odd hour.
Finally snoozed off at 2am.
Breakfast the next morning was nothing to shout about as the food is not that impressive and tasty. We ate for the sake of eating.
My breakfast We checked out soon after breakfast as we have another place to visit- Kluang .
Kluang is a small town , about 1/2 hour from Skudai. The famous Kluang train station is well-known for it's aromatic coffee, nasi lemak and roti spread with kaya and butter. My friend's relatives were so warm towards us. We had an enjoyable trip, not to mention lots of good foods as well.
Although that trip was short, we still managed to visit many places of attraction such as Gunung Lambak, and of course the train station !
Reached home around 9.30pm. Was dead tired but nonetheless, enjoyed the trip very much.
